Our Guides
The
stalking of any wild animal has an element of luck in it. We use
estates where the deer are roaming freely, and are not
constrained by special fencing or other obstacles. To stalk
deer, who have total freedom of movement, requires guides who are
familiar with their estates, and who understand deer lore
and have the necessary wood craft skills to place you in the
best position for a safe and achievable shot.
All of
our guides have either been personally trained, or have proved
their prowess by stalking with me for some years. I can
personally vouch for the quality of these people.
In
today's environment, where blood sports may generate extreme
actions by some people, I will, on this web site only refer to
some of our guides by their first name
Scotland
Our deer managers in Scotland are Stephen
and Andrew in the Lowlands and Borders and various
estate employed professionals in the Highlands.
Central England
In central England we have another Stephen , who is
our guide on various facilities for stalking and
shooting sports. He also assists as appropriate at the
training courses that we hold on a regular basis in this area.
South East England
In south east England our assistant stalkers Joe
and Russell are available to act as stalking and shooting
guides and to assist with the monthly courses.
Central Southern England
Our Surrey associate stalker Trevor is available for
London based clients to visit.
East Anglia
Our very experienced and capable associate stalker in East Anglia is Ian.
South West England
I maintain overall control over all of these
areas from our Hampshire base, and Barry, Kevin and Steve
help me to stalk and train clients in all of the above areas.
